What Happens When You Turn Off All Notifications in Facebook?

Facebook adds more notification options (which default to "ON" of course) and then you start getting emails from Facebook when you don't want them. And you say to yourself "what the hell? I turned this crap off!" and then you go to Facebook and navigate your way through the mess of shit until you finally land on the "Notifications" page.

At this point you may notice there are at least 10 new notification options. No joke.
